Which images convert well?
Logos, icons, simple illustrations and other flat-color graphics convert cleanly into crisp, editable SVGs. Detailed photographs become a stylized, posterized result rather than a pixel-perfect copy, because the image is rebuilt from solid shapes.
What's the difference between Color and Black & white?
Color groups the image into filled color regions for a full-color vector. Black & white produces one-color line art, closer to a classic sketch or stencil. Detail keeps more colors and finer shapes; Smoothness drops tiny specks for a cleaner, smaller file.
Is the result really an editable SVG?
Yes. It's a standard SVG made of vector paths, so you can open it in Illustrator, Inkscape or Figma, recolor it, scale it losslessly, or animate it with CSS.
Does it work on very large images?
Yes. Large images are scaled down to a sensible size first (extra pixels rarely survive the conversion and only bloat the file), then converted. It runs on a single thread, so very large or busy images take a little longer.
